For the other "one"

The other Marianne that is! She was here for a time and it was grand,we were sad to see you go. We had many laughs we three, Carmel, you and me! Never thought I'd find a weird one...just as weird as me, with our shouts of joy heard throughout the house and being so bold as to get up and dance in front of an unexpected crowd just to make them glad, sad or mad!
We made a pretty good girl band you and me with all that jazz. I shall miss it for I don't think I'll ever find one quite like you... another Marianne!

The night Marianne left us for Mexico we made popcorn and watched a girly movie. They didn't like the camera so much...Carmel being my hand model

Things going on

*Instead of driving practice on Thursday I went to see my sister and Dan for the weekend, YAY.
*Felt sick but worked and came home Saturday night.
*Saw an amazing display of weather while driving home of darkness, thunderstorm, wind, sun and rainbows all within 10 minutes
*Watched the Finals of Britain's got Talent with Carmel
*Miss my son, miss my son, miss my son
*Might practice driving Sunday afternoon
*Hang out with friends Sunday night
*Want to chat with you over a bottle of wine
*I'm happy for my life
*Wishing you a good nights rest

Driving school

I was suppose to have gotten this started at the beginning of the month but there's been a lot going on in my life but better late then never. So tomorrow's the big day to start my driving lessons. It's a four day course, so for the next four Thursdays I will be out on the road with my instructor learning all I can, then it's off to 25 hours of in class study...OH JOY!

One small factor...it'll be raining tomorrow, should this worry me?

Double birthday BBQ

Went to a BBQ on Sunday to celebrate brother and sister, Laniy and Oli's brithdays. It was a very big turn out with lots of people filling every corner. There was lots of meat to be cooked and a soccer game played, it was very nice to see everybody again and even David Photo and family was there from Japan...plus wonderful Gabe, Ally and son from Texas...wow!

Happy 14th Birthday Jamie

Can't believe your already 14, goodness gracious! Well, it's been fun living with you and seeing you grow up, you'll be hitting your growth spurt shortly so I have to enjoy this time being taller than you ha! Hope this year is filled with adventure and fun. You just keep being your sweet, fun self and I know you'll have a great time! Happy Birthday James!

From a 4 day trip...good to be home but it's fun on the road too! :)

Just so you know.....

At the beginning of the month I set out to get my G1 licence! My goal was to have it done before April was over and I'm please to report that I PASSED it this afternoon! Yeay for me! Now it's off to practice my driving!
