what's happening

There are quite a few of you out there that haven't posted in awhile so I don't feel as bad . And I do have a good excuse, over the holidays I was feeling pretty good so I gave into a few temptations and had a few more (healthy) sweets then usual. And now I'm paying for it as I've been feeling pretty weak and not my normal self. I know...bad Marieanne. But I'm getting back on track.
Big news.....our friend Jesse has come back from India for awhile, it's always a treat to see him as he's full of exciting stories to tell and can keep the attention of everyone in the room for a good hour or so. And in honor of him coming back we had some friends over. It usually works out great as all the kids go outside to play in our big field of a yard while the adults talk away inside our small humble living/dinning area. But alas, last night blew in a cold cold icey wind and rain that froze all the trees and ground. It's been FREZZING all day but everyone showed up so we stroked up a fire in our furnace, crammed around 30 people into our tiny living area and enjoyed a nice potlock meal. Some of the kids dared to brave the cold for awhile only to come back inside with hands and ears red and frozen...what can I say....kids will be kids. We closed the day with a nice communion, prayer and hugs all around.
I'm really frustrated I don't have pictures to post any more as I'm not a big writer. I just like posting pictures, I'll have to find someone in the home that has pictures I can use. Well it's my day off in a hour so I'll leave you so I can bundle up in bed with a warm tea and see if there's a good movie I can watch. Love you lots xoxoxo
