Hair cut day

We've been playing with the idea of cutting Devin's hair for sometime now and today was the day the decision was made. I ask Devin what he thot and he replied "we should cut it!" So that was that, Mike pulled out the buzzer and got to work. I cringed as I saw the first pieces of hair fall to the floor " What have we done?"I still had mixed feelings as I really liked Devin's curls but it was such a hassle every morning to brush it out and I felt it was time for a change. Of course I was trying to be brave and encouraging to Devin as to not upset him and get him worried, but he held his own and was very calm about the whole thing and happy with the results. TG! I too have come to like the new look, it's very grown up and he looks older. He's got a good shaped head and looks like his daddy more then ever. Very handsome!
Here's a few pictures of the memorable moment!

I'm very thankful that my wonderful sister and brother came up to spend the day with us. It was so good to see them again. I love my family so much.... each person is beautiful and wonderful and we're all different for sure but I wouldn't have it any other way. Your all special and mean the world to me! Recap

Today was my day off and Tati, Julia and I went out to see "Happy feet"!
"Happy feet" was cute and had lots of fun songs but I was slightly disappointed at the storyline and how the middle part played out... it had a good ending though but the way they got there could have been a lot better. But overall I'd have to say it was enjoyable and I love those cute little latino penguins...their the best!

Heidi, Brendon, Kylie and Chris are all coming up for Thanksgiving......YEAY!
It's been so long, I can't wait!

Weekend fun

So I had a good weekend! Got lots done and had some fun evening activities.
One night we played poker and other card games and I won three rounds in poker which is a shock.

And tonight is my night off so I will just chill, relax with some whole made organic banana bread I made and some cool water.. while I watch a movie, don't know which one yet but hopefully it will be a good one.
Oh and just to keep everyone updated on my health, I've been doing very well and have now gone back up to 106 lbs. which I'm very happy about. I've been good with my workouts, focusing on building up my thigh, calf, and arm muscles. I've been slowly seeing some definition which is good....real good!
Thank you all again for your prayers for me, it means so much! I love you all! xoxox

Here's just a few shots I took of our beautiful, colorful world this time of year!

New and Old

We got a new pup today. She's been Oooo'd and Ahhhh'd over and gets all the attention in the world. The boys spent most of today making a cute little home for her where I think she will be very comfortable. Now the hard part is choosing a name for her, Some say Tosha, others say Posha, then there's Anastasia (Asia for short). As you can see we're trying to go with a Russian name as her parents names are Russian. Either way she will be loved by all.

A few weeks ago a friend told us he had some stuff that he'd been keeping in a storage for awhile and now was trying to clean out & he wanted to give it to us. So Mike and Zech went to pick the things up and one of the things they brought back was this way cool old record player. ! It was an instant hit as we set it up with speakers and all &; then proceeded to select some ol' records such as "Dean Martin", "The Beavers", " Jonny Mathis", "John Denver", and "Glenn Miller". There's also a variety of Christmas records that we've begun to play as the Christmas season has rolled around. It's been lots of fun listening to those old classics and has been a real novelty in the home.
