Happy Birthday

Just got back from seeing part of my family in Austin for Christmas, it was so good to see everyone again, we stayed at a beautiful hotel for 3 days where we got together, played games ate, drank and enjoyed each others company. Sorry don't have any pictures of the trip to post, I did buy a little disposable camera that hopefully took a few good pictures which I will try to get developed a.s.a.p. Boy do I miss my digital! Anyway I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too with the ones that you love.
And on just one more note before I go to sleep I want to wish my dear sister Carmel, a very happy happy 14th birthday! Your such a joy to live with. Your beautiful, funny, cute, weird and quarky and I wouldn't have it any other way! I love you! Have a fantastic 14th year xoxoxox

son is sick

Please keep my little man in your prayers, he's been sick with a very bad cough and slight fever for two days and it's hard for him to breath as he's pretty congested. Thank you so much!

Our nativity

Our family made this cute manger sence for our front yard. My mom and the kids worked on the paper mache heads for Joseph and Mary and their clothing, Simon made the stable and manger. And I got the job of painting the faces on Joseph and Mary and the backdrop with a cow, dove and donkey. It was a great project to do with the kids and lots of fun.

Happy 8th Birthday Aime

Yesterday was our baby sisters birthday. Aime Jane is one of those kids that you never forget, when she looks at you with that big smile and shinny eyes you just melt. She's always got a smile on her face and is very spunky and excited about life. She has a big heart and loves making people happy. She's a smart little thing too and can talk your ear off if you let her ha! And even though she's cute and pretty with this amazing long beautiful hair, she's quite the tomboy and loves doing all the things the boys do. For her birthday she got a skateboard so she could skate around like her big brother Andre, to cute! Everyone I know that has lived or been around Aime knows what a special sweetheart she is.
Since my camera is broken I will post some older pictures of her and will try to get some new ones up later.

Christmas bells are ringing

Christmas is in full swing now with lights put up, house decorated, cookies being baked and today the kids went out to sing to some of our friends in town which went well. The kids were so cute and did such a good job as they've been practicing for some time now. Then after singing, we got a Christmas tree for them to take home...they were so thrilled and can't wait to go out again tomorrow. I'll try to post some pictures soon. But alas my dear camera has died so I will be borrowing, using, wanting others cameras until I get a new one.
Anyways things are busy, busy with lots more work ahead. This Christmas will be different for me then others, but it's good in a way... sometimes you need change. Hope all turns out well!
I love you all and am wishing you a Christmas filled with love, laughter, family and friends and good cheer!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Mom's got super powers!

Do you remember as a kid wondering how your mom knew the things you were doing even when she wasn't in the room? Llike when you'd be getting into something or doing a naughty deed and all of a sudden you'd hear her say from the other room "Hunny, don't do that" or "Get out of that"! Man....how did she know what I'm doing? Does she have super sight or something?
Well it's funny now to be on the other side of that situation, like when I notice Devin in the bathroom brushing his teeth and he gets real quiet I know that he's putting the tube in his mouth, which I 've caught him doing at times. So from the livingroom I'll say "Devin don't put the tube in your mouth!" Or like the other day when I had to use the bathroom which is right next to my bedroom and the walls in our house are very thin and you can hear everything that goes on in the next room. I hear Devin pick up my back massager, turn it on and start giggling. So then I say through the wall "Devin, please turn off and put down mommy's massager!" All is quiet and as I enter my bedroom I find Devin starring at me with a puzzled look and asks "Mommy...you can see through walls?"
